it has been a few days since i posted... four weeks, fifteen starbuck venti java (yava) chip fraps, three pair of shoes and countless shopping trips later, cousin marvin returned to germany. in those four short weeks he became a part of our family... we all miss him dearly :0( preping the house for aunt bina who arrives tonite and will be with us for two weeks. ahhh... our summer of entertaining :)

cousin marvin is visiting from germany. one of his quests is to find the "right" pair of shoes... apparently not an easy thing for a 14-year old boy. today, after two malls and twenty four stores, i let the babies go a little crazy...

my little three year old son handed me his popcornbowl and asked, "mommy will you get all the seeds out?" to which i replied, "i'm not sure i can get them all." he looked at me with his innocent, big, blue eyes and said, "that's ok, mommy, just do your best." talk about putting life into perspective!
